This is a summary of my review of the Infinix GT 10 Pro versus Infinix Note 30 VIP, which you will find on my main website mightygadget.com

The Infinix GT 10 Pro is essentially a rebranded version of the Infinix Note 30 VIP, with a few minor adjustments, a gaming-focused design, and a lower price tag. The GT 10 Pro is Infinix’s first foray into the realm of gaming phones, targeting budget-conscious gamers who can’t justify the cost of a flagship gaming phone.

The GT 10 Pro and the Note 30 VIP share many similarities, including the same chipset, display, and storage capacity. However, the GT 10 Pro differentiates itself with a unique rear case design, less RAM, slower charging, and the absence of wireless charging.

The GT 10 Pro’s design is more vibrant than the Note 30 VIP, featuring a mix of yellows and greys in a pattern that Infinix calls “Cyber Mecha”. The phone’s camera performance is on par with the Note 30 VIP, with a 108 MP lens and a 1/1.67" sensor, providing good to excellent photo quality for its price range.

Performance-wise, the GT 10 Pro uses the MediaTek Dimensity 8050, the same as the Note 30 VIP. It performs well in benchmarks, but it’s not quite what you’d expect in a gaming phone. The phone runs on a clean XOS based on Android 13, which is free from unnecessary bloatware and advertisements.

The GT 10 Pro is equipped with a 5000mAh battery, which should last a full day of medium to heavy usage. However, it lacks the wireless charging feature of the Note 30 VIP and has slower 45W wired charging.

The official retail price of the GT 10 Pro is not yet known, but it’s expected to be lower than the Note 30 VIP’s launch price of $299. Despite being almost identical to the Note 30 VIP, the GT 10 Pro is a fantastic phone with an attractive gamer-centric design, assuming it launches at a lower price.
